Employee Benefit News has named Empyrean CEO and Co-Founder Rich Wolfe one of the top 21 innovators shaping the benefits technology landscape today.
EBN’s Technology Innovator Awards distinguish industry leaders that have had a significant impact on the way HR engages employees, increases education and understanding, and lowers costs when it comes to employee benefits. Rich has dedicated his career to improving benefit experiences for employers and participants through the development of client-adaptive and scalable technology solutions, designed to help benefit teams meet their ever-evolving challenges. In addition to driving the growth and direction of Empyrean’s benefits administration platform and services, Rich also led the effort to develop a suite of comprehensive Affordable Care Act (ACA) solutions, which help employers manage their ever-changing – and often overwhelming – regulatory compliance requirements. Most notably, Empyrean’s clients achieved unparalleled success during the inaugural reporting year: all mailings were sent out on-time, all filings were submitted ahead of the deadline, and 100% of clients’ Empyrean-derived data was accepted as compliant by the IRS.
